Queen Mary, University of London, ofrece a los clientes alojamiento en la ciudad estudiantíl galardonada de Wesfield en el campus de Mile End.
Las habitaciones están organizadas en apartamentos de hasta 6 dormitorios, todas tienen baño privado y comparten una pequeña cocina donde se pueden preparar bebidas.
Mile End se encuentra a menos de 20 minutes con metro del West End, una ubicación excelente también para los cleintes que visitan The City y Canary Wharf o que asisten a los acontecimientos en el cercano Victoria Park. La ciudad estudiantíl de Westfield está situado al lado del Regent Canal, de donde es posible caminar hasta el sitio de los Juegos Olympicos de 2012.
Comidas y bebidas
Desayuno se sirve en el restaurante The Curve entre las 07.30 y las 09.00. Los clientes tendrán una opción entre desayuno continental y inglés, así como un buen surtido de bebidas frías y calientes. En días de semana almuerzo es también disponible allí.
Para los clientes que quisieran aventurarse hasta el West End, hay varios cafés, tabernas/bares y restaurantes en las zonas cercanas de Brick Lane, Bow Wharf y West India Dock/Canary Wharf.
Zonas verdes
La ciudad estudiantíl está situado al lado del Regent Canal y hay espacios donde sentarse en el terreno. The Millennium Park, con campos de deportes y una reserva natural, está ubicado al lado de la ciudad estudiantíl y el muy popular Victoria Park está a unos minutos a pie de la residencia.
Otras instalaciones
En cada habicación hay acceso a Internet por medio de un cable Ethernet. Hay que pagar algo para los datos de conexión. Se hace esto a la recepción que permanece abierta 24 horas. Tarifas Internet: 1 semana - £6; 4 semanas £10; 12 semanas £15.
Hay dos lavanderías automáticas de monedas en el sitio. Las planchas se prestan a la recepción y tablas de planchar se encuentran en las cocinas.
En el campus hay el ‘Village Shop’ (Tienda de estudiantes) donde se pueden comprar periódicos, alimentación y bebidas sencillas y artículos de aseo. La tienda solo está abierta en días de semana. Otras tiendas permanecen abiertas toda la semana y se encuentran apenas fuera del campus, en Mile End Road.
Hay unas cabinas telefónicas en el campus.

La recepción permanece abierta 24 horas y hay lugares donde guardar sus maletas – por favor pregunten a la recepción.
Cómo encontrarnos: La estación de metro más cercana es Mile End (Central, District y Hammersmith & City líneas). Al salir de la estación, doblen a la izquierda. En la encrucijada, siguen derecho y caminen debajo del puente amarillo. Al próximo semáforo, crucen la calle y a la derecha y verán Westfield Way y una señal azul para 'Queen Mary, University of London'. Desde allí, caminen por Westfield Way hacia la ciudad estudiantíl. La estación de metro Stepney Green (District y Hammersmith & City líneas) se encuentra también unos 10 minutos a pie de la residencia.
La recepción se encuentra en Sir Christopher France House que es el gran edificio verde al lado del canal.
El Docklands Light Railway (DLR) conecta Lewisham en el sur con Stratford en el este, Bank en The City y el London City aeropuerto. Las estaciones más cercanas son Bow Church y Limehouse, ambas a unos 1.5km de la residencia. Trenes parten para el histórico Greenwich, el hogar del National Maritime Museum y The Royal Observatory.
En autobus: hay varias rutas para los barrios diferentes de Londres, todas a unos cinco minutos caminando de la residencia. Hay dos autobuses que circulan 24 horas que se paran a Mile End (el 25 y el 205), lo que les permite a Ustedes disfrutar de la vida nocturna de la ciudad, sin tener que pagar un taxi muy costoso para regresar a la residencia. Los horarios se muestran en las paradas de autobuses.
En avión: el aeropuerto de Stansted se encuentra a unos 46 minutos de la estación Liverpool St Station (Metropolitan, Circle y Hammersmith & City líneas); Heathrow está a unos 15 minutoes de la estación Paddington (Circle línea); Gatwick está a unos 30 minutos de la estación Victoria (District y Circle líneas); London City aeropuerto esta a unos 20 minotos con el DLR (estaciones Limehouse o Bow Church).
En coche: situado en la carretera A11, Queen Mary es menos de 8km de Trafalgar Square y Oxford Circus. La residencia está a unos 12km de la autopista M11, lo que la hace una base excelente para excursiones de un día fuera de Londres: Cambridge y Leeds Castle in Kent se encuentran ambos a menos de una hora en coche.

Mrs Constance Harford, septiembre 2011: We 3, white haired ladies, found this ideal for the sightseeing we wanted. Buses and underground trains nearby. We managed when a demonstration at Aldgate closed bus stations and underground stations as one of us had lived in London previously. Site was interesting near the canal. We only experienced some noise as students started to come back on site and banged doors. Had meals nearby at Lebanese and Indian restaurants. It felt quite safe.

I enjoyed my stay there, and it compares very favourably with the other student accommodation I have used in London, at Imperial College in South Kensington.

I recommand to add a reservation for internet acces in the online reservation form. It took a day to complete the application and there are no other media devices in the room.

Good location--in London zone 2, but worth it--still easy access to West End, and perfect for East End. Grocery stores near by, and good kitchen facility. Overall, exactly what we needed.
Margaret Verdon, agosto 2010: The campas was very modern, clean and asthetically pleasing, located next to the Regent's Canal. The accommodation was excellent value, clean and quiet with fridge, it's own ensuite and use of shared kitchen facilities. Breakfast (choice of cooked, vegetarian or continental) was included and the student restaurant was very good. I would recommend it. My only point would be that the booking form was a little misleading and indicated that we had the option of asking for car parking - which we did - but parking was not actually available at Beaumont Court. I would suggest that the form requests applicants check with the information about the halls and carparking before completing this section as it is easily overlooked.

To make the experience even better I´d suggest that the shower curtains should be changed(Thicker material would be much better).A radio would have been very welcome.Otherwise you cannot get any better for the price and I´ve been many times in London from B&B to 4 star hotels.Thank you

Sauber, ruhig, mit der U-Bahn schnell im Zentrum, nettes Personal, Klitzekleines Bad, das für mich aber völlig ausreichte. Bequeme Matratze, ordentliche Bettwäsche, alles, mehr, als ich für diesen Preis erwartet hätte. Man kann auch die Wäsche zwischendurch im Uni-Waschraum waschen und trocknen. Es tut mir leid, dass ich vergessen habe, dem Zimmermädchen - jeden Tag - Trinkgeld zu hinterlassen. Entschuldigung.
