Situated approximately 10mn walk away from King's Cross St Pancras station in a quiet street at the back of a park, Frances Gardner House welcomes you. This newly built residences (completed in 2004) provides clean and affordable accommodation in en-suite bedrooms in clustered flats of five to eight single bedrooms, all with their own kitchen / dining area.

The Dickens House Museum and the British Library are only a few minutes walk from the residence and St Paul Cathedral is a short bus ride away. Museums and art galleries are also on the doorstep.

Comidas y bebidas

Frances Gardner House is a self-catering residence. Each flat has a kitchen equipped with basic essentials for the guests' use. We ask the guests to clean and do the washing up after themselves.

The Brunswich centre, a short stroll away is ideal for shopping and there are also numerous bars, restaurants and cafes in nearby Russel Square or towards Exmouth Market.

Frances Gardner House is located just to the rear of Langton Close. Guests staying at Frances Gardner House can enjoy the facilities at Langton Close which include a TV lounge, a launderette and a vending marchine.

  • Internet: every room has a broadband internet access point requiring an ethernet cable. Ask at the reception for an internet voucher. The vouchers are for a minimum of one week (2009 rates: £8 for 1 week, £12 for two weeks, £22 for 4 weeks). We do not offer Wifi access.

We apologise but we have neither parking nor luggage storage facilities available on site.

We unfortunately are unable to accommodate guests under 16. Underage guests have to be accompanied by an adult.

The easiest way to find us is by public transport. If taking the underground, exit at King's Cross St Pancras. Ideally you should take the Euston Road South side exit but the exits have no number at King's Cross. Walk on Gray's Inn Road past Eastman Dental Hospital and the park and turn left on Wren Street and left again on Langton Close.

The other nearby underground stops (10mn walk each from the residence) are Russel Square and Chancery Lane.

, agosto 2011: The room was good value for money clean and very functional, however a light by the bed should be standard. I would certainly use this facility again and would recommend it to anyone on a budget.

, julio 2011: The rooms were very clean and the facilities as good as many hotel rooms. The kitchen facilities gave the accommodation a definite advantage over a standard hotel. At this time of year it was quiet and peaceful, exactly what I needed as I was in London to do research work. At a 17 minute walk to the British Library, the location was good. There were 24-hour shops, and a few small restaurants and pubs in the vicinity. The Reception Staff were impeccably pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay there again as the accommodation had many advantages over even good quality hotels.
